My name is Leatherman Will Howard. In 2023, I attended the International Mr. Leather (IML) contest, where I was deeply moved by the powerful speeches delivered. Inspired by this experience, I returned to South Florida with a renewed commitment to strengthen my community through fellowship, events, and gatherings. With a background rich in organizing successful functions, I felt well-equipped to bring people together. However, it soon became clear that many others are also inspired to support their communities but find the task daunting. The challenge of orchestrating such efforts can be overwhelming, leading many to abandon their aspirations. LinusUP seeks to facilitate a path to support and expand our communities.

My background in nonprofit business development and grassroots fundraising has equipped me with the necessary expertise to mobilize community members in gathering support for their causes. I've learned that for people to thrive in these endeavors, they require clear, step-by-step guidance and direction.
This realization led me to wonder: why isn't there an informational guide outlining how to set up such initiatives? Creating a resource that is accessible to every community would facilitate quicker expansion and empowerment. This is how we can pass on essential knowledge to the next generation of the leather fetish community, ensuring their ability to enhance and sustain our culture.
